Work at Height training – one of industry’s most needed!

Work at height training is essential because falling from height is one of the commonest causes of injury and death, especially in a construction setting in the UK. The Work at Height Regulations lay responsibilities on employers in all sectors of industry to ensure appropriate work at height training is carried out.

Working at Height RoSPA Approved

This course is specially produced for anyone who undertakes work at height, or who employs people who regularly work at height. The term ‘work at height’ includes a wide range of situations ranging from obvious ones like working on platforms, ladders, scaffolds or stages, to working alongside open excavations or at the edge of a roof; it’s not how far you climb, but how far you can fall. ‘Falling’ doesn’t just mean people falling from heights, it also includes materials or equipment falling, which inevitably present a serious hazard to anyone below.

All working at height is covered by health and safety legislation. The Work at Height Regulations 2005 confer legal duties on employers and employees to assess, control and minimise risks and hazards from work at height. Our work at height training course covers topics including the dangers of working at height, the regulations, the hierarchy of controls, assessing risk, and much more.

Please note that this online training course is an awareness course only. Awareness of the hazards is vitally important, but if your duties include working at height you will also need further practical work at height training for the particular situations involved.
